The man alleges that the matrimonial partner neither sent a single photo of the girl nor introduced her to the family in 45 days.

What is the argument of the groom’s father?
After this the man’s father approached the consumer court. The Consumer Court of Bengaluru has asked the city’s matrimony company Dil Mill to pay ₹ 60,000 to its customer if the groom is unable to find a bride. The groom’s father took the matrimony company to court and alleged that he was treated badly when he inquired about their services.

What is the whole matter?
It is being told that this order has been given by the court on October 28 by the three-member Fourth Additional District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Bengaluru, headed by Ramachandra MS. In a complaint, the groom’s father Vijay Kumar said he contacted Dil Mill in March this year after seeing their social media promotion to find a bride for his son Balaji. The Dil Mill team promised that they would find a bride for his son within a month and he would have to pay ₹30,000 as registration fee.

When father asked for update from the company
However, when Kumar inquired for an update in April, the company did not respond. People working in the company asked him to wait till the end of April and even after April, Kumar alleged that not a single girl’s photo was sent to him. In May this year, Kumar had sent a legal notice to the Kalyan Nagar-based matrimony company. The company did not provide legal representation even after the court sent a notice and did not file any objection to the complaint. Man sued matrimony firm after not being able to find a match for his son, got relief of ₹ 60 thousand.
